Terms of Sale & License

These terms govern your purchase and use of Filmsilk (the "Product"), sold by Hayes Labs LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us"). By buying or using the Product, you agree to them. Questions: christian@hayeslabs.io.

1. What you're buying

Digital color looks (.cube LUT files), color palette files, and access to a private web page (the "Fitting Room," and for Filmsilk Complete, "Studio") that runs in your browser. Payment is processed by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are one-time. There is no subscription.

2. License

We grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the looks and palettes you bought in unlimited personal and commercial projects, including client work, social media, advertising, film, and print. The finished work you create with them is yours. Custom looks you export from Studio may be used on the same terms.

You may not resell, sublicense, share, upload for others to download, or redistribute the LUT, palette, or exported .cube files themselves, alone or in a bundle, template, preset pack, or app, and you may not share your private access link. One purchase covers one person; studios with several editors should buy one license per editor.

3. Free looks and the free preview

The free looks and the Fitting Room preview are offered under these same terms. Preview stills saved from locked looks are for evaluation only.

4. Launch code

From launch until Nov 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the launch code "PAOLA" gives a 100% discount at checkout. Orders placed with the code receive the same license as paid orders. The code has no cash value and stops working automatically after that time. We may end the offer early if it is abused.

5. Results

How a look appears depends on your footage, camera settings, and software. We describe the Product accurately, but we don't guarantee a particular result on every shot. You can try every look on your own footage before buying.

6. Access and availability

Download your files soon after purchase and keep a copy. We work to keep your private page available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. If you lose your link, email us with your receipt.

8. Intellectual property

The Product, including the looks, palettes, software, text, design, sample images, and the Filmsilk name and logo, belongs to Hayes Labs LLC. Third-party app names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility; we're not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Product is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted when you buy applies to that purchase.
