Looks that suit phone footage
- Honey (free): warm gold that flatters skin, great for everyday vlogs and travel.
- Riviera: sun-bleached whites and turquoise water for beach and summer clips.
- Postcard: slide-film color with vivid skies, clean and punchy.
- Home Movie: yellowed highlights and soft greens, like a family reel.
- Midnight: cool, quiet blue for night city shots.
- Neon: pink and cyan pop over inky blue nights.
How to apply them
- Shoot in standard video (or convert Apple Log to Rec.709 first).
- Import the .cube into an editor that supports LUTs. Steps: CapCut, LumaFusion, DaVinci Resolve.
- Lower intensity to taste, since phone footage already has contrast baked in.
- Keep one look per video so clips shot at different times still feel like one story.

FAQ
Can I use .cube LUTs on iPhone video?
Yes. Apps that read .cube files, such as CapCut, LumaFusion, DaVinci Resolve for iPad, and desktop editors, can apply them to iPhone clips. Some phone apps don't import LUTs at all, so check your editor first.
Do I need Apple Log?
No. Standard iPhone video is already close to Rec.709, which is what Filmsilk looks expect. If you shot Apple Log, convert it to Rec.709 first, then apply a look.
Why does my iPhone footage look too contrasty with a LUT?
Phone video is already processed with contrast and saturation. Lower the LUT intensity to around 50 to 70%, and see why a LUT can look wrong.
Is Filmsilk an app?
No. Filmsilk is a set of .cube LUT files plus a free browser Fitting Room for previewing them. You apply the looks in the editor you already use.
