Updated November 7, 2026
The best wedding LUTs keep skin warm and believable, hold detail in white dresses, and stay consistent from ceremony to reception. Here are the Filmsilk looks built for that, and how to use them.

Which Filmsilk looks suit weddings
- Linen (Soft Light): creamy, quiet neutrals. A safe all-day base for ceremonies and portraits.
- Petal (Soft Light, free): airy peach and rose with lifted blacks, skin that glows.
- Blush (Soft Light): a romantic rose wash for first dances and candlelit receptions.
- Honey (Golden Hour, free): warm gold that flatters every skin tone. Great for portraits outside.
- Dusk (Golden Hour): peach highlights and lilac shadows for sunset sessions.
- Sunday (Golden Hour): a slow, faded afternoon for nostalgic highlight films.
- Matinee (Film, free): classic cinema print with warm skin and teal shadows for a trailer-style edit.
- Silver (Film): soft matte black and white with a whisper of warmth, for vows and getting-ready moments.
A simple wedding grading workflow
- Convert log to Rec.709 if you shot log.
- Match exposure and white balance across cameras so one look fits every angle.
- Pick one hero look for the film and keep it consistent; switch only for intentional moments like a black-and-white vow sequence.
- Dial intensity per scene, and check skin on a calibrated or at least consistent display.
Every look works in Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and other editors that read .cube files. Steps: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro.

FAQ
What makes a good wedding LUT?
Flattering, believable skin first; gentle highlight roll-off for white dresses; and a look that stays consistent across indoor, outdoor, and reception light. Subtle beats dramatic for most couples.
Should I apply a wedding LUT at 100%?
Usually not. Balance exposure and white balance first, then start the look around 60 to 80% and adjust per scene. See how to adjust LUT intensity.
Do these work on log footage?
Filmsilk looks expect Rec.709 input. Convert log first with your camera maker's conversion LUT or your editor's color management: convert log to Rec.709.
Can I use them for client work?
Yes. You can use the looks in personal and commercial projects you deliver to clients; you just can't resell or share the LUT files themselves. Details are in the license terms.
